Plan your time and budget.

Use the Part 61 Cost Estimator to compare aircraft categories, adjust planning hours, and see aircraft and instruction costs.

A practical Part 61 training plan.

Plan around your experience, intended certificate or rating, and lesson availability at KGAI. Aircraft rental is provided through club membership, while approved independent FAA-certificated instructor members arrange and charge for their instruction directly. Both the instructor and student must be club members.

Use the Part 61 training cost estimator to compare hourly aircraft budget categories and adjust your future hours. The tool includes PPL, IR, Commercial, and CFI preparation. It is a planning estimate, and your instructor will help you review logbook credit, the appropriate aircraft, ground study, and test preparation.
