Common questions about Advantage Aero Club
Find the next step for joining, learning, reserving aircraft, or sharing a first flight.
Is Advantage Aero Club a traditional flying club?
Advantage Aero Club is a for-profit aviation business providing member aircraft access, training support, and aircraft management. Membership and aircraft use follow the club’s approval and operating requirements.
Do you employ instructors directly?
Instruction is provided by club-approved independent FAA-certificated CFIs who are club members. Members arrange and pay for instruction directly with their CFI, separately from aircraft rental.
Can student members reserve aircraft?
Student club membership is required for instruction in club aircraft. Student members may access aircraft for dual instruction with a club-approved independent member CFI, subject to club requirements and aircraft status.
Can qualified pilots reserve aircraft for solo flights?
Yes, once qualification, checkout, currency, and approval requirements have been met.
Can aircraft owners make their aircraft available to the club?
Yes. Contact us to discuss aircraft suitability, member utilization, owner access, and a potential rental or leaseback arrangement.
How are maintenance issues handled?
Members should report discrepancies using the club’s reporting process. The club coordinates maintenance and inspection oversight, and aircraft availability depends on current status.
Which aircraft are in the club fleet?
The fleet includes a Piper Warrior III and a Piper Sport light sport aircraft. Meet our fleet and contact us about current rates and checkout requirements.
How do members reserve aircraft?
We use Flight Schedule Pro. Approved members use their club account to review availability and manage permitted reservations. See scheduling information.
What does a discovery flight cost?
Warrior III packages start at $150. Prices are for the complete package, with options for one or two passengers. Every package includes 30 minutes of ground briefing and either 30 or 60 minutes in the aircraft. Compare all four packages.
How do I access member documents and the aircraft POH?
Email join@advantageaeroclub.com using your registered member email. Access is provided after membership is confirmed. Member documents and aircraft POH information are available here.
